Q. Can I use the charger as a power supply?A. MEC/MFC/LBC/MBC battery chargers are designed to only supply power to the battery clips whenthey are connected correctly to a battery. This is to prevent sparks during connection tothe battery or if connected incorrectly by mistake. This safety feature prevents thecharger from being used as a ‘Power Supply’. No Voltage will be present at the clipsuntil connected to the battery.

Does Ligao inverters work on solar panels? In the current range of inverters we offer, they do not work directly with the solar panels. However, if the solar panel is being connected with a solar charge controller and then to the battery, the inverter can be used in this application. When the inverter is connected to the battery and switched on, and why the inverter does not work? In order to ensure the normal operation of the inverter, you must be sure of: 1) the battery is fully charged or at least not inlow battery voltage conditions; 2) the polarity connection from the battery to the inverter is correct, i.e. The positive polarity from the inverter terminal to the positive terminal on the battery and the same for the negative polarity, do not ever reverse the polarity connection.
